Photo images a flower

Detail of a flower magnified reminds me of Georgia Okeefe's work studies of  flowers close up enabling us to engage with nature to stop and take time to look particularly in our age of busyness where a loss of contact with nature seems so prevalent...

                                                               Taking a look.......

Taking a closer look...

                                                                         and closer
 and closer still...

Magnified the intricate design- patterns, colours, textures

Albert Einstein
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
Albert Einstein

Images from the Wicklow Mountains...a recent trip to Dublin Ireland

Dublin the place of Guinness, leprechauns, laughter and... the Wicklow Mountains!
is also the birth place of  poet and writer Oscar Wilde; whose capacity to understand the human condition is so perceptively recorded through his timeless words of humour, wit and irony.

Oscar Fingall O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was born in Dublin in 1854. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and Magdalen College, Oxford where, a disciple of Pater, he founded an aesthetic cult. (Find more on Amazon)
