Hello good morning and welcome! here are a few images of an acrylic work recently finished... I have honed in on different aspects to share the details.
The work is highly textured, to do this I started with pva glue, sand, paper, lace materials... leaving to dry over night, I then proceeded by painting gesso on top, this process creates an interesting textured ground from which to start the work.
firstly a rough sketch then commencing with the actual painting acrylic paint colours used were turquoise, white, burnt umber and ultramarine blue ...
In this semi abstract work I attempt to create sense of atmosphere, this is enabled by the colours along with the shadowy evening effects created by the rising moon behind the distant trees .
